This Request for Tender (the “RFT”) is an invitation by The Town of Lincoln (“the Town”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for 2026001PW Blezard Drive Turning Basin Construction, as further described herein.

The work is to consist of, but it is not limited to, as follows:

• Construction of Turning Basin and Tie-Ins

  Full construction of the turning basin including excavation, road structure, asphalt paving, and tie-ins to existing driveways and adjacent roadway surfaces.

• General & Contractual Works

  Mobilization/demobilization, bonding & insurance, construction layout, as-built documentation.

• Traffic Management & Site Controls

  Traffic control and signage, dust control (water / calcium chloride), temporary access and safety measures.

• Environmental Protection & Tree Management

  Tree protection, tree trimming/relocation, sediment and erosion control.

• Clearing, Stripping & Earthworks

  Clearing and grubbing, topsoil stripping, excavation, and management/disposal of excavated materials.

• Granular Works & Road Structure

  Granular base construction, subdrains, driveway granular reinstatement, geogrid reinforcement.

• Asphalt Pavement Works; and,

  Asphalt removals, tack coat, asphalt base and surface courses, asphalt driveway reinstatement.

• Concrete & Restoration Works

  Concrete curb and gutter, topsoil placement, sod, tree planting, scour protection, and final site restoration.
